Fullback, midfield or where ever required, Neil 'got it'. Scorer of a fistful of goals & provider for many more, he always gave 100% for the Dons. He moved over to the coaching staff at the end of the first season, signing off with a cracking goal against RPV. Neil left the Dons to spend more time watching his son play for Fulham. |

Whilst never appearing for AFC Wimbledon in League or Cup, he made his one and only appearance for us in the first half of the inaugural match against Sutton United. However, the fullback’s first appearance for the Dons was in the 1975/76 season under manager Allan Batsford, before his departure in the 1977/78 season. A player unknown to many who attended the Sutton Utd game, for those who remembered the Southern League days, Kevin’s appearance confirmed what we all felt – that AFC Wimbledon was a continuation of the traditions and history of a great club. |
